REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY ONLY OPEN TO FOOD AND BEVERAGE VENDORS, INCLUDING BREWERIES, WINERIES, AND DISTILLERIES.

 

Registration for non-food vendors will open up February 20.

2. On the next page select your booth, review the Terms and Conditions, and submit payment.

3. You will receive a confirmation email with links to the required permits and documents that must be submitted by March 1.

VENDING DETAILS: READ CAREFULLY!

VENDOR FEES:
Note: all non-mobile vendors are provided with a professional tent. Let us know if you would prefer to bring your own, branded tent. The booth fees remain the same. 

Food Trucks:

  • Space measures 10x30 space and includes access to electricity (generator).
  • Cost $200
  • All trucks must have an inspection certificate issued by the City of Albuquerque

Tented vendor, with access to electricity:

  • Includes 10x10, professionally installed tent.
  • Includes bare 6ft table, 2 chairs
  • Includes access to electricity (generator)
  • Cost $200

Tented vendor, without access to electricity:

  • Includes 10x10, professionally installed tent.
  • Includes bare 6ft table, 2 chairs
  • Cost $150

Additional fees:

  • City of Albuquerque temporary food permit, required for all non-mobile food vendors. Cost, $25
  • City of Albuquerque business license, required for all vendors without one. Cost, $35
  • Celebration Permit Application, required for all alcohol vendors. Cost, $10

Optional Add-Ons

  • Grill with propane, $75
  • Hand-washing Station rental, $50
  • Additional 6' table, $10
  • Grade X sheet rock for vendors frying in a tent, TBD 

No cost for parking or staff passes.

NOTE: A $150 cleaning fee will be charged to any vendor who fails to leave their space exactly as it was found.

 

 

VENDOR DETAILS

  • Menus may include any items but the more with bacon the better.
  • You may include non-bacon items but all menus must include at least one bacon dish. 
  • We will work to minimize menu duplication to maximize sales potential.
  • Prepare easy-to-make, fast-to-serve items to keep lines short, satisfy customers and increase sales.
  • Menus must include at least one bacon item priced no more than $4.00 to allow attendees to buy as many vendors' dishes as possible.
  • Grilling? The grill must be 10 feet from your tent. We can rent you a grill.
  • Frying? You may fry either 10 feet from the tent or line the wall of your tent with graded sheetrock.
  • All vendors are required by Albuquerque to have an Albuquerque Business License. If you do not have one, you can secure a temporary one for the weekend for $35.00. Details below.
  • Be sure to review the required vendor paperwork listed at the bottom of the page.
  • Attendees may buy tickets that include "Bacon Bites."
  • Vendors are reimbursed $2 for each Bacon Bite. Details below. 

 

TICKETS & BACON BITE TOKENS

  • There are two ticket types for attendees:
    • "Just Get Me In", $10. All food is purchased directly from vendors.
    • "Fill Me With Bacon", $35
      • Includes 8 poker chips to be exchanged for "Bacon Bites" from any 8 vendors. (vendors are reimbursed $2 per chip)
      • Includes 6 ounce commemorative glass. 
  • What is a Bacon Bite?
    • A small bacon dish or treat, may be smaller versions of other menu items.
    • A 5 ounce pours of beer served in the free commemorative glass.
    • A sample serving of wine or spirits.
    • A non-food item or discount at a non-food vendor - discount must be no less than $3.00.
  • "Bacon Bites" are required for all food and beverage vendors.
  • "Bacon Bites" are published and promoted leading up to the event - so choose yours early. 
  • We encourage you to also sell your "Bacon Bites" -  priced no less than $3.00

  • When an attendee gives you a token, you give them your Bacon Bite dish, or 5 ounce beer pour.
  • At the end of the festival - we reimburse you $2 for each poker chip collected. Checks are mailed within 5 business days.
  • In 2015 the # of tokens collected ranged from 9 to 380, depending on how tasty the Bite was. 
  • Vendors must decide what their "Bacon Bite" will be, no later than March 15.
  • We will print it in the event guide, like a menu.

  

ELECTRICITY & WIFI

  • Electricity is available only for spaces along the sides of the field.
  • You must provide no less than 100 feet of grounded (3-prong) extension cord to access the generators. 
  • If you do not require electricity, please select a space on the grass.
  • Wifi is not available at Balloon Fiesta Park.

BOOTH SELECTION
We reserve the right to alter the layout or move vendors when necessary. 

We reserve the right to cancel a registration without refund if the proper paperwork is not submitted on time. 

All registrations and payments are final. No refunds.
